Arrested for abandoning their two-year-old son to go partying in Murcia

The local police of Murcia have arrested two people for abandoning their son to go partying during the early hours of last Sunday. According to La Opinión de Murcia, the agents patrolling the Atalayas leisure area picked up the two-year-old boy, who was wandering alone on the street after being allegedly abandoned by his parents.

Shortly after the minor was found, police discovered that his parents were in the area. Apparently, and according to authorities, they were inside a nightclub.

The little boy was guarded by the Social Services of the Murcia City Council (SEMAS) until they were able to find a great-uncle who agreed to take care of him, since the parents had been arrested for abandonment.

The accused are in the Carmen Police Station, of the National Police, which will be the body in charge of investigating the events.
