The Local Police of Santa Coloma de Gramenet (Barcelonès Nord) arrested this Thursday a man who was carrying allegedly stolen material in a vehicle that overturned in the middle of the street, after which he tried to flee.
As reported by the city council, the driver left the scene of the accident after having overturned the car on Mare de Déu de la Mercè street, although he was able to be located and arrested by municipal police officers.
The injured driver was driving with an unapproved foreign driving license and tested positive for drugs. He also had allegedly stolen material inside the car.
Finally, the agents have arrested him for the crimes of receiving and driving under the influence of drugs, once he tested positive for drugs, and he has also been reported for having committed several administrative infractions.
