Members of the Civil Guard are investigating the death of a 54-year-old woman who was admitted to a hospital in Malaga with a head injury. The protocol has been activated because it is a possible case of sexist violence and a man with whom the victim could have had a romantic relationship has been arrested, according to Diario Sur.
This Thursday morning, a call to 112 reported the status of a woman with breathing difficulties. The emergency services and also the Civil Guard traveled to the place, a house located in the town of Humilladero. Initially, the victim was transferred to the Antequera Regional Hospital, but due to her serious injuries it was decided to evacuate her by helicopter to the Regional Hospital. She was admitted to the ICU and hours later, she passed away.
The first incident between the victim and the detainee would have occurred over the weekend. The investigation remains open.
