Andalusia launches a new conversational assistant that will provide the traveler with all the information about its beaches, so that the visitor will be able to know if the water is cold or if the area is full of people before arriving there.

The Ministry of the Presidency, Interior, Social Dialogue and Administrative Simplification has updated the Catalog of Beaches in Andalusia, when it has also announced this novelty of the conversational assistant.

This tool allows the citizen to know first-hand the state of the beaches, their physical characteristics, location, level of occupancy, weather forecasting and tourist information, as explained by the Minister of the Presidency, Antonio Sanz, in an attention to the media in Victoria Beach in Cádiz.

To all this information, this summer for the first time, there are also aid posts, watchtowers, nautical canals, meeting points in case of tidal waves and, as a highlight, a conversational assistant to which citizens can ask questions and get an answer. , as highlighted by the Board in a note.

The General Catalog of Andalusian Beaches is conceived as an instrument at the service of the different public administrations and the public in general to know at all times the different types of beaches, their physical characteristics, the degrees of protection by seasons, if applicable. , and the extremes related to security that are “relevant for effective intervention and coordination in ordinary emergencies and civil protection”.

The citizen who accesses this tool has a map and a search engine to locate the beaches by municipality and name, as detailed by the Board, which has specified that the catalog can be consulted free of charge via the web and mobile phone through a Mobile application of the General Catalog of Andalusian Beaches, which can be downloaded for devices in both Android and IOS versions from the respective Play Store and App Store platforms.

The Minister of the Presidency has indicated that this is the first year that all the Andalusian coastal municipalities have safety and rescue plans on the beach, “one more guarantee for all those who visit them”, as he pointed out.

Antonio Sanz has also stressed the importance of enjoying safety, and has alluded to the ‘Cero Ahogados’ campaign, launched by 112 to prevent accidents in the aquatic environment. Constantly watching the little ones, reviewing all the safety elements in the boats before going to sea and avoiding diving are some of the tips included in the guide to avoid drowning this summer that 112 is disseminating and that can also be downloaded through the app.

The Tsunami Plan and the training of Civil Protection volunteers in water safety have been other elements highlighted by the counselor, who has encouraged “everyone to enjoy our beaches and also the richness of our interior In short, to choose our land to spend their holidays, convinced that they are coming to the best destination in the world, a land with guarantees of safety, tranquility and protection”, concluded Antonio Sanz.
