A 33-year-old man was seriously injured this Sunday, shortly before two in the afternoon, when he received multiple stab wounds all over his body as well as the amputation of one of the fingers of his hand during a fight over a sentimental conflict in the Madrid district of Usera.

The National Police has taken over the investigation of the event, which apparently was due to a fight between several people: a group of about four men -among whom was the victim- and another group of at least two people, presumably a man and a woman. The alleged perpetrator of the aggression managed to escape and is in search and capture.

When Samur – Civil Protection arrived at Marcelo Usera street, at number 170, they found the man lying on a bench in a garden area with stab wounds to the head, back, arm and leg. The most serious is the amputation of the first finger of one of his hands.

According to sources from Madrid Emergencies have detailed to Europa Press, the toilets have guarded “in the most correct way they can” the amputated finger to try to have it reimplanted. The wounded man, who was conscious, is transferred in serious condition to the La Paz Hospital.

For their part, police sources have informed Europa Press that the attacker, who has not yet been arrested, was accompanied by a woman. The victim was in the company of three other personnel. They point out that it could be due to some kind of disagreement due to infidelity.
