The mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez-Almeida, recommended this Friday to Reyes Maroto, spokesperson for the PSOE in the City Council, that she take “some fruit salts”, because he had seen the socialist councilor “nervous” in the extraordinary plenary session. so that the corporation opposes the amnesty law and reaffirms its commitment to the Constitution and equality among Spaniards.
Almeida dedicated the first part of his second speech in plenary to Rita Maestre, spokesperson for Más Madrid, whom he has referred to several times as “Teresa from Calcutta.”
“She (Maestre) is scandalized by the episodes of street violence, of course, she does not care about amnesty terrorists. She is scandalized by the violence, but she participated in the escrache against Rosa Díez at the Complutense University, so the Mother of Calcutta did not care,” Almeida told Maestre and then went on to address Maroto, whom, from the outset, she said: “I have seen her very nervous, I recommend that she take fruit salts, which will be very good for her.”

Previously, Maroto had asked the mayor to censure that Isabel Díaz Ayuso called Pedro Sánchez in the guest gallery of Congress a “son of a bitch”, because, if not, Almeida will be complicit in the words, said the PSOE spokesperson.
