The Spanish singer Aitana will premiere at Rock in Rio Lisboa on June 23 with her show Alpha tour 2024, the same day that artists such as Doja Cat, Camila Cabello and Ne-Yo will perform at the festival.
The organization reported this Thursday in a statement and through its networks that Aitana will be in charge of opening the Mundo stage, the main stage of the festival, on the last day of Rock in Rio, which this year celebrates its 20th anniversary.
Rock in Rio Lisboa will take place on June 15, 16, 22 and 23 in a new location, Tejo Park in the Portuguese capital, after previous editions were held in Bela Vista Park.
The executive vice president of Rock in Rio, Roberta Medina, explained that on June 23 they want to leave space for young people and, therefore, Aitana will be one of the artists who will take the main stage that day.
With this confirmation, Aitana joins the lineup of the festival that starts on June 15 with Scorpions, Evanescence, Extreme and Xutos
This new milestone in the life of the singer from Sant Climent is added to her next project, which came to light a few days ago: ‘Wall with wall’, a film produced by Netflix. The artist will star in the film after her debut in ‘La Última’, a series with which she made her debut as an actress.
