A young man arrested for beating his father to death in Narón (A Coruña)

The 26-year-old man accused of violently beating his 67-year-old father in Narón (A Coruña) and who later died due to his injuries, was brought before the court this Tuesday around 10:00 a.m. in court, where He arrived in a police van from the Ferrol-Narón police station.

The events occurred last Sunday at the victim’s home, in the A Solaina neighborhood of Narón (A Coruña), and according to the sources consulted by Europa Press, the accused did not reside with his parent.

Thus, last Sunday afternoon, the accused went to the apartment where his father and grandmother lived when, according to the same sources, a strong argument began between them that triggered a “violent attack”, which left him injured and in a state of shock. very serious to the father.

The victim was transferred in an ambulance from Urxencias Sanitarias de Galicia-061 to the Hospital Arquitecto Marcide in Ferrol, where he was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU), but died on Monday afternoon, failing to recover from his injuries.

The young man did not want to clarify a possible motive for the attack at police stations and repeatedly asked the officers if he had managed to end his life. This Tuesday he was handed over to the Investigative Court number 2 of Ferrol, which is the one that was on duty when the attack occurred.
