A 44-year-old woman is in a stable hospital in Valencia after having received six stab wounds at a home in the Valencian town of Torrent by her partner, a 40-year-old man, who has already been arrested by the National Police.
As police sources have confirmed to EFE, the events occurred around 6:00 p.m. this Friday at the family home that the couple shares in the municipality, when the man assaulted his partner, stabbing her six times.
The woman has been treated and stabilized by a medical team and has been transferred to the General University Hospital of Valencia in an advanced life support ambulance, the Emergency Information and Coordination Center (CICU) has reported.
The victim has been admitted conscious and is stable within the severity, without fearing for his life as no vital organs have been affected, sources close to the investigation have pointed out to EFE, while the man has been detained by the Police.
The police sources have indicated that both are of Spanish nationality and that, according to the first investigations, there were no previous complaints.
