Blonde hair, feline look, oval face and accentuated cheekbones. This description matches the physical characteristics of one of the most successful supermodels of all time: Kate Moss. The 50-year-old model, now retired from the catwalks, was in the news again last Monday the 4th after her supposed appearance at the Marine Serre fashion show in Paris.
The French fashion brand quickly went viral on social media when a woman identical to Kate Moss appeared at one of the shows. The surprise for the guests at the show is that this model was not the legendary top, but rather her double on Instagram.
Her name is Denise Ohnona, she is 43 years old and describes herself as “the world’s number one clone of Kate Moss.” Her account, which reaches 67.2 thousand followers, has endless images and videos in which she imitates the poses and gestures of the authentic top model of the nineties.
This is not the first time she has been confused with the real Kate Moss. In November 2023 she published a video where she appears leaving a Primark store in Liverpool and people, unusually, turn to look at her. “Causing commotion outside Primark,” she writes in her post.
In an interview she gave to the British newspaper Daily Mail, the young woman from Lancashire confessed that at first when she was photographed it made her uncomfortable, since she felt like a “false” version. “Over time I started to enjoy it and now I find it very flattering. Who wouldn’t want to be confused with Kate Moss? She is one of the most incredibly iconic women in history.”
After her stellar appearance at the Marine Serre fashion show, Moss’s double has shared endless news from media outlets that had fallen into the trap and said that the real model had once again walked on a catwalk.
