A train driver ends his day in Sahagún and leaves the train without reaching its destination, which was León.

A train driver left the train with all his passengers in Sahagún because his work day was ending. The events occurred on March 27, on the eve of Holy Thursday, when the final destination was to arrive in the Leonese capital before 10 p.m.

The trip became a nightmare for the travelers, since no one informed them of what was happening. They simply knew that for the moment the train was stuck there, when it usually makes a very brief stop for travelers to get on or off, reports Norte de Castilla.

There was half an hour left to reach Léon, but they had to wait more than two hours until Renfe enabled buses to reach the end of the destination. “The reviewer only told us that it was not going to restart,” explained Javier García, one of those affected on the social network X.

At first, they were informed that the León station was not accepting the arrival of more trains, but the reality was that the driver had completed his work schedule and was ending his day. It is not the first time that events of this type have happened, since several Renfe workers have turned off the engines before reaching their destination. The first 40 travelers left on the first bus that arrived after 10 p.m. and the rest had to wait for the arrival of others to reach their destination.
