This meeting, which will take place from Friday to Sunday in Montjuïc, will be attended by 14 taquerias, including Chamako, Machete, Takearte, Adelita and Casa Xica, which will offer everything from more classic tacos, such as cochinita pibil or carnitas, to others less common, such as one with torrezno and papada and another with cactus strips sautéed with grilled onion. The festival, whose entry costs two euros (it is free for those under 12 years old), will also have multiple activities, such as mariachis, wrestling shows and tequila tastings. The most daring can sign up for a spicy challenge, in which they will try tacos with sauces that will increase in intensity. The winner will win a dinner for two valued at 40 euros at the Machete taqueria. Finally, there will be a reservation space for groups, the Big Taco area, designed for birthdays or gatherings of friends, which will have its own bar.
Van Van 100% is another of the gastronomic events that can be attended over the weekend, which in this case will be held at the Antigua Fábrica Estrella Damm and will be aimed at a celiac audience. In this market, in addition to concerts, DJs and workshops, projects with different approaches to the world of gluten-free food will be presented. There will be Grosso Napoletano, with its signature pizzas without glutine, or Cal Marius, with its pastrami sandwich and its squid breaded with chickpea flour. Access to the venue is free.
And for vermouth lovers, Vermouth and Soul is also held from Friday to Sunday, the fair where music and this classic weekend aperitif drink come together. The party will once again occupy the Moll de la Fusta, where several vermouth brands such as Dos Déus, Las Vermudas and El Bandarra will be represented. There will be food trucks offering bravas, olives, fried fish and other typical tapas, as well as street food from countries around the world.
