A 'pack' in Los Villares, Jaén, sexually assaults two 16-year-old girls

They are investigating a new alleged group sexual assault against two minors. It happened in Los Villares, a small municipality in Jaén with barely 6,000 inhabitants, where the 16-year-old victims declared having been attacked last weekend by a ‘pack’ of five boys during an improvised drinking party in the industrial estate of the town. The accused were arrested by the Civil Guard, although four of them, aged 18, have been provisionally released and the fifth, aged 14, has been admitted to the ‘Las Lagunillas’ Center in the capital, managed by the Junta de Andalusia, since apparently it could have had more participation in the aggression.

As this newspaper has learned, one of the adults is also being investigated for the commission of another sexual assault with penetration a year ago in the same town, a fact that has been reported by the woman attacked earlier this week. . It is not ruled out that, as a result of the latest event, other attacks and other victims will be made known.

According to what has emerged, the girls were attacked in the early hours of last Saturday to Sunday by these individuals, who forced them to touch and fellate them, as Diario de Jaén has pointed out. One of them would have informed her parents of her facts, who would have accompanied her to file a complaint with the Civil Guard. Both young women have already given statements, as have the accused, in the Investigative Court Number 4 of Jaén, in charge of investigating the case when it is on duty during the weekend.

According to the complainant’s report, she was allegedly attacked inside a car parked in the bottle area, since those investigated initially maintained that everything was due to “a joke” that lasted “seconds” and that consisted of putting the minor through the car window and to take it out through another of the windows.

The five alleged aggressors were then detained, however, the Investigative Court number 1 of Jaén agreed this Wednesday to the provisional release of the four men of legal age. All are investigated for a crime of sexual abuse. As for the 14-year-old boy, he was placed at the disposal of the Jaén Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office, from where he was ordered to be admitted to a center in the capital.

The provisional release order has imposed on the four detainees a restraining order with respect to the two minors under 16 years of age and a prohibition on communication with both of them.

The members of the group, four of them residents of Los Villares and another resident in the capital of Jaén, would have committed more similar attacks, or that is what is suspected after the complaint of another victim at the beginning of the week, who accused one of the adults of having sexually assaulted her with penetration a year ago in the same town.

The woman appeared at the Police Court earlier this week and reported the events that occurred a year ago. The alleged sexual aggressor was also questioned in court in relation to this case, after which the judge on duty agreed to his provisional release with the precautionary measures of removing the woman allegedly attacked and prohibiting communication with her.

It is not ruled out that the number of victims will increase when this latest case becomes known.

At the moment, as has been revealed, one of the alleged members of this pack has been threatened through graffiti that appeared on the facade of his home.
