A new breakdown in the water network of La Bisbal d’Empordà (Girona) has left the entire city without supply since early this Friday morning. While the problem is being solved, the City Council has installed a water tank at the Zoilo Feliu nursing home.
As soon as the problem was detected, the technicians went to work, but it is not expected to be resolved before noon.
The breakdown has occurred at the point where it usually happens, between Castell d’Empordà and Canigó streets, just a key area that causes the supply to be cut off in the entire municipality.
The City Council has advanced that the restoration of the service will be gradual, in order to avoid possible leaks at other points that would cause new breakdowns.
