Agents of the National Police have arrested a 42-year-old man in the Valencian town of Ontinyent as the alleged perpetrator of a sexual assault on a woman. In addition, the now arrested man forced his way into the home of his ex-partner to hide and showed an “aggressive attitude” towards the policemen who arrested him, whom he even threatened using personal information about them that he knew.
As reported by the Higher Headquarters, the events occurred around twenty to six in the morning, when the agents carrying out prevention work were alerted by the 091 Room to go to a home in Ontinyent where a sexual assault was being committed.
Immediately, the police officers went to the place where they found a woman in a great state of nervousness. She explained to them that, moments before, an acquaintance had shown up at her home and, with the excuse of leaving her some scooters for her ex-partner, had convinced her to open the door, at which point he took the opportunity to pounce on her, grabbing her by the neck so surprise while threatening to kill her to make her stay still.
Given these facts and after verifying that the attacker had fled the scene, the agents transferred the victim to a hospital center to be treated.
Shortly after, around half past seven in the morning, the police officers were once again commissioned by the 091 Room to go to another address where another woman was asking for help.
The agents quickly went to the place, where they located a very nervous and frightened woman who told them that her ex-partner had entered the house by force and without her consent and had slept in bed with the children they have in common. .
After accessing the home with the woman’s authorization, the agents verified how a man was lying in one of the bedrooms with three minors, pretending to be asleep. When questioned by the agents, he got up but refused to accompany them “adopting an increasingly aggressive attitude”, for which the policemen had to request support from other units. An endowment of the Local Police was presented to the place.
After a series of steps, the police verified that it was the same man who had raped the first victim shortly before, for which he was arrested as the alleged perpetrator of the crimes of penetrating sexual assault, breaking and entering, and resistance and disobedience.
Likewise, he is charged with another crime after making death threats against the agents and their families of whom he knew personal information.
The detainee, a 42-year-old man of Moroccan nationality who is in an irregular situation and has extensive police records, has gone to court. A restraining order has been issued for the sexually assaulted woman, as well as the placement of a telematic location device in relation to her ex-partner.
