A man died this Sunday after being trapped in a car wash tunnel in Gandía (Valencia), according to sources from the Fire Consortium.
The firefighters and the Gandía sergeant went to the rescue of a man who had been trapped between the vehicle and the pillar of the car wash train, located between the CV-670 highway and Grau Avenue at 5:32 p.m.
Upon arrival, the man was unconscious and without a pulse, and the firefighters proceeded to free the victim, slightly removing the vehicle, and attempted to revive him using a defibrillator and performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Upon the arrival of medical personnel, they took charge of the situation and confirmed that the man had died.
