The Mossos d’Esquadra have arrested a 58-year-old man as the alleged perpetrator of six robberies with intimidation in commercial establishments in Alt Camp and Conca de Barberà between May 19 and June 10. During that period of time, he would have stolen up to 1,655 euros in different places in Valls, Montblanc, Vilaverd and Vimbodí.

According to police sources, the individual entered the establishments and demanded that the workers give him the money from the box, intimidating them with a knife or scissors. The agents arrested him on Sunday June 12 on the N-240, after fleeing from a police control.

Apart from the robberies, the Mossos have also arrested the man for reckless driving, resistance, disobedience to the agents of the authority and for damages, since in his flight he circulated at high speed and recklessly through the interior of Montblanc (Conca de Barberà), coming to invest the police vehicles.
