A four-year-old girl died this Wednesday after drowning on Monday in the municipal pool of Granollers (Vallès Occidental), as explained by Protecció Civil in a statement.
The events occurred on Monday, August 14, around 4:00 p.m., when the emergency telephone number 112 was called from the pool, warning that a girl had drowned in the pool and that they were trying to revive her.
Two land units, a helicopter from the Sistema d’Emergències Mèdiques (SEM) and members of the Local Police and the Mossos d’Esquadra traveled to the scene, and the minor was transferred to the Sant Pau hospital in Barcelona in critical condition, where he died this Wednesday.
