A fire, in which there were no injuries or poisoning, burned two warehouses this morning in the town of Humanes and required the intervention of 14 fire crews to prevent its spread to other warehouses.
As reported by Emergencies 112, the event occurred at number 28 Fuenlabrada Avenue around 5:45 a.m., in a vehicle workshop, and has spread to a nearby tire warehouse.
14 fire crews from the Community of Madrid have traveled to the site, and when they arrived they found the fire very developed, with a very significant column of fire and smoke.
Given the advanced nature of the fire, firefighters have focused, for more than two hours, on confining the fire so that it does not spread to more warehouses, especially to a scrapyard that was located at the rear of the two warehouses affected by the fire.
Of the two affected buildings (a total area of ??1,000 square meters), one of them has been completely burned and the roof has collapsed, while the other has been affected on the ground floor.
After more than two hours of work, it was possible to confine the fire to the affected area and prevent its spread. There have been no injuries or poisoning.
Firefighters continue working at the scene to avoid possible outbreaks, according to Javier Chivite, spokesperson for Emergencies112 of the Community of Madrid.
