A Civil Guard agent died this Friday after falling from a height of 12 meters during an operation in an abandoned industrial warehouse in the Madrid town of San Agustín de Guadalix.
As sources from the armed institute and Summa 112 have informed the Efe agency, the accident took place around 1 p.m. while the agent was on duty in the aforementioned ship, which is large, abandoned and located in an industrial estate.
The agent, stationed in Torrelaguna, was on one of the upper floors of the warehouse, very close to the roof, when it gave way. He has fallen into the void from a height of about 12 meters and the impact with the ground, in addition to causing several injuries, has caused him to go into cardiorespiratory arrest.
The Summa 112 healthcare workers performed advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers on him, but after 40 minutes they were only able to certify his death.
The president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, has lamented the death of the civil guard on the social network X: “May he rest in peace. All our gratitude for his noble work.”
The Government delegate in the Community of Madrid, Francisco Martín, has also regretted the death of the agent and has sent condolences and all his affection “to his family, friends and colleagues in the Civil Guard” through a message published on his account. of X.
