The Alicante City Council of Dénia has suspended this Monday the third day of bous to the sea after the death of a bull that has fallen into the water after ramming a couple of attendees to the event, municipal sources have confirmed.
The bull has been taken out of the water with a boat and attempts have been made to revive it, although it had already died, these sources have reported, which have explained that the cause of death has not yet been confirmed.
This was the third day of bous a la mar in the town of Alicante, which celebrates these festivities until next Saturday, declared of National Tourist Interest and before which, however, dozens of activists demonstrated this Sunday, understanding that they represent mistreatment towards the animal.
