A one-year-old baby died on Wednesday after being hit by a van in Barcelona, ??specifically, in the Ciutat Vella district. Municipal sources have reported that the tragic accident occurred on Wednesday around 8:30 p.m., at the corner of Calle Allada Vermell and Calle de Carders, in the Santa Caterina neighborhood.
The Sistema d’Emergències Mèdiques (SEM) transferred the boy to the hospital “seriously injured”, but the doctors could not save his life and he died two hours later. Teams from the Accident Prevention and Investigation Unit (UIPA) of the Guàrdia Urbana traveled to the place of the deadly accident to investigate the causes of the accident.
