The newborn found dead after his 16-year-old mother gave birth in her own home in Santiponce (Seville) died as a result of acute cardiorespiratory failure in a full-term newborn, according to the advance autopsy performed on the body by the Institute of Legal Medicine (IML), a document transferred to the Court of Instruction number six, which is investigating the matter, as reported by the Communication Office of the Superior Court of Justice of Andalusia (TSJA).
The court, according to the TSJA Communication Office, is currently waiting to receive the expanded autopsy and the report from the Judicial Police of the Civil Guard.
As reported by the Civil Guard, during the early hours of this past Wednesday the minor went to the Virgen del Rocío hospital, stating that she had given birth to a baby in her own home in Santiponce, a statement reported by those responsible for the hospital center to the Benemérita, specifying that due to the images provided of the matter, the girl had given birth to a baby who had possibly died.
When a team of health professionals went to the home in question, they verified that there was indeed a newborn there, certifying his death.
