A 67-year-old man is hospitalized in serious condition after being run over early this Monday by an EMT bus on Calle de Alcalá in the capital, a spokesman for Madrid Emergencies has reported.
The emergency services have received a first call around eight in the morning warning of the event, at the height of the Canillejas roundabout with number 634 Alcalá street.
Apparently, the man would have crossed the roundabout and the EMT driver did not have time to stop. When the paramedics arrived, the injured man had severe head trauma and abdominal trauma.
The toilets have intubated the man and once stabilized he has been transferred with a serious prognosis to the Gregorio Marañón Hospital in the capital. Municipal Police of Madrid investigates the outrage.
