A 45-year-old man died this Monday after a concrete wall fell on him while he was working on a construction site in the Madrid district of Arganzuela, as reported by the 112 Emergency service of the Community of Madrid.
The work accident occurred around 11:30 in the morning on Juan de Vera Street, in the Delicias neighborhood of Madrid. When the paramedics arrived at the scene, the man was in cardiorespiratory arrest and had fatal injuries, so they immediately confirmed his death.
The Madrid City Council Firefighters have also moved to clean up and secure the area, while the Municipal Police have opened an investigation to determine the circumstances of the case.
