The Mossos d’Esquadra yesterday arrested a 19-year-old young man as the alleged perpetrator of the murder of a 35-year-old man in broad daylight, on Rambla de Ponent, last Sunday, March 3, in the Camp Clar neighborhood of Tarragona. The suspect showed up at the police station.

The crime, committed at the exit of a parlor with two stab wounds, motivated the call for practically daily protests by the Maghreb community in the neighborhoods of Ponent demanding justice. Some demonstrations that took place at the doors of the suspect’s family home.
