A 14-year-old minor was stabbed this Wednesday with a machete, in what is speculated that it could be a new fight between gangs in the Madrid metro, this time at the Pueblo Nuevo station. The attack occurred at night on the station platform itself, in Ciudad Lineal.

The young man was with several friends when he was suddenly hit with a machete at arm’s length. The attackers fled down Emilio Ferrari Street. The National Police is investigating the incident.

The agents had to intervene by putting a tourniquet on the cut area to prevent the teenager from bleeding. After being seriously admitted to the La Princesa Hospital, he is currently in a reserved state.

The police suspect that this is another new confrontation between the Trinitarios and the Dominican Don’t Play, two Latin gangs that have been causing problems in the area for several weeks.

This event occurred just two days after another serious fight in Villaverde that ended with two injured, again two young people aged 19 and 20, after a brawl with knives.
