A ten-year-old boy drowned this Sunday in a dam in the Biscayne town of Abadiño, according to sources from the Ertzaintza in information collected by the Efe agency.
The boy fell into the dam around 7:45 p.m., apparently to pick up a ball that had fallen, and was located by the Ertzaintza around 8:34 p.m. Despite resuscitation attempts, the child has died.
Abadiño’s is the second death by drowning that occurs this Sunday in Bizkaia, this morning a 63-year-old man died on the Muskiz beach, and the fourth in the week.
