21 political parties are competing for the Catalan vote on May 12

A total of 21 political parties will compete on May 12 in the Catalan elections, whose campaign started last midnight agitated by the announcement, the day before, of the possible resignation of the President of the Spanish Government, Pedro Sánchez. They are two less than in the previous elections, held in 2021, when the Catalans were able to choose between 23 parties.
