A total of 170 passengers from a train had to be evacuated this Saturday when the caboose caught fire while it was circulating through the Seville municipality of AlanÃs, as reported by Emergencias 112 AndalucÃa, a service attached to the Ministry of the Presidency, Interior, Social Dialogue and Administrative Simplification of the Board.
The technical staff has proceeded to evacuate the 170 passengers, including 144 children between 6 and 8 years of age, without any of them suffering injuries. Adif communicated that at 11:19 p.m. on Saturday the railway circulation was normalized and proceeded to deactivate its emergency plan.
The incident, of which Adif has alerted the coordination center at about 6:50 p.m., has been caused by a fire in the caboose and in the engines in the rear area of ​​the same when the train that made the Seville-Cáceres line He had to stop the march at kilometer 148,100 between AlanÃs and Cazalla.
Firefighters from the Seville Provincial Council have intervened in the place to extinguish and control the fire, together with agents of the Civil Guard and health services in prevention.
