A mother and her three children, ages 6, 11 and 13, jumped this morning in San Adrián, Navarra, from a second floor onto a mattress placed on the street by their neighbors to escape the fire that had broken out in their home. . Both the wife and her children were unharmed.

At 01:30 this morning, the Civil Guard received a notice about a fire in a house in the town of San Adrián and mobilized three citizen security patrols to the scene. When the agents arrived at the scene, the wife and her children were already on the street in perfect condition. They told the agents that several neighbors had used a mattress to catch them when they jumped from the second floor.

The fire, which was extinguished at 2:30 a.m., forced the family to spend the night at a relative’s house as it was not yet possible to re-enter their home.
