Last Sunday, the Barcelona Urban Police arrested four individuals accused of trying to rob a person of a luxury watch valued at 120,000 euros, in the Ciutat Vella district.
As municipal sources informed EFE this Monday, the events occurred shortly after 11:00 a.m. in the Barceloneta neighborhood. The victim told the police that a group of four people tried to steal his watch, but they left when they saw that he was resisting the robbery.
However, a man, who had seen what happened, ran after one of the perpetrators of the attempted robbery and managed to restrain him. That was why when the Urban Police arrived at the scene, there was already a group of people around one of the suspects.
After the arrest of one of the four individuals, the municipal police were able to arrest the other three in the Born neighborhood. They achieved it thanks to the description provided by the victim and by the witnesses who witnessed the attempted robbery.
