A group of thieves stole a luxury watch valued at more than 100,000 euros a few days ago on a street in the Madrid neighborhood of Salamanca, sources from the Madrid Police Headquarters confirmed to Europa Press.

The assault took place on the afternoon of November 24 at number 17 Lagasca Street, which has already been the site of other similar episodes. A man of Spanish nationality had just left a restaurant when two people jumped him from behind with the aim of ripping off his watch.

When they didn’t succeed at first, they beat him until they took it out of his hand. It was a watch from the Patek Phillipe brand, which is valued at more than 100,000 euros. Several passersby observed what happened and described to the Police the features and characteristics of the thieves. The main person responsible is tall and bald, around 50 years old. After committing the assault, he got on a black scooter-type motorcycle, Voz Populi published today.

Agents of the Zonal Investigation Operational Group (GOIZ) ‘Cronos’ have taken charge of the investigation of these events. They believe, as has happened in previous robberies, that one of the criminals previously ‘marked’ the victim so that his henchmen could assault him. Now they are looking for the perpetrators, who could have carried out similar events.
