José Luis Moreno is currently immersed in the so-called Operation Titella. It was in June 2021 when the renowned presenter and ventriloquist was arrested by the Specialized and Violent Crime Unit of the Madrid Police Headquarters, in collaboration with the Barcelona Civil Guard, for alleged crimes of fraud and money laundering. His last statement was last September, and he is now preparing a forceful response.
According to El Español, Moreno is currently working on two multimedia projects with which to explain his version of the events. It is a television series, written and produced by himself, and an email in which anonymous citizens can report stories similar to his so that he can tell them in future formats. First of all we find the series Roemmers the Sheep: The Last Suicide. According to sources close to the person involved, it is a “drama with touches of comedy,” in which Moreno intends to explain under the cloak of fiction “the injustices that he believes he is going through.” The name of the sheep could point to Alejandro Roemmers, Argentine billionaire and victim of the comedian in one of the Operation Titella plots.
According to the investigation data, the man from Madrid would have defrauded Roemmers during the production of the Glow series.
His second project is an email address with which to publicize cases like his. His idea is to tell through other audiovisual media, be it their networks or future formats, stories of people “who feel they have been victims of an unjust system.” This email,líneacloacas@gmail.com, suggests that it can also serve as a source of inspiration for future series, now that Moreno is immersed in the world of production.
“He wants them to write to him recounting his bad experiences with the Spanish justice system or with the media that are lynching him and are holding a public trial before he is convicted or acquitted,” explained sources close to Moreno in statements to El Español. .
