The color red can evoke different emotions, from passion and love to anger and fear. For this reason, I wanted to write, accompanying these images in the Photos of the Readers of La Vanguardia, various verses that describe the different sensations that this sunset yesterday could evoke from the Serralada de Marina, in Sant Fost de Campsentelles, looking towards the mountain of Montserrat and the plain of Vallesana.
Sensations and mood are two related, but different concepts. Sensations are subjective experiences that occur in response to external or internal stimuli.
Mood is a more general trend of a person’s emotional state. It is important to keep in mind that sensations and mood are subjective, and each person experiences them differently.
The sky turns red
of blood,
as if the sun had gone down
fatal wound.
The clouds turn dark,
as if they were omens
of a coming storm.
The wind blows strongly,
and the leaves of the trees
they fall to the ground,
as if they were tears.
The world is plunged into darkness,
and silence takes over everything.
The red sky of love
is tinged with passion,
as if the sun were
burning with desire.
The clouds turn pink,
as if they were petals
of a rose in bloom.
The wind blows sweetly,
and the leaves of the trees
They dance to the music.
The world is filled with joy,
and love is breathed in the air.
The red sky of fire
is tinged with anger,
as if the sun were
angry about something.
The clouds turn black,
as if they were ashes
of a fire.
The wind blows with rage,
and the leaves of the trees
They burn in the fire.
The world is filled with terror,
and fear takes over everything.
