Lydia Lozano is back on the television sets. After her successful stage in Sálvame, the Madrid native has undertaken a new adventure in a similar format, Mañaneros, a current affairs magazine on RTVE’s La 1, presented by Jaime Cantizano and in which journalists Pepa Jiménez and María Eugenia Yagüe also participate. .

Lozano reappeared on a special date for her, coinciding with her 63rd birthday and her colleagues wanted to give her a pleasant surprise.

The public television team has asked for a dedication to a special person for her, Jorge Javier Vázquez, host of Sálvame and with whom she has shared the afternoons for more than a decade.

The Catalan was surprised at the presentation of the second book by the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, and they asked him about the signing of Lozano. “Let her stay for a long time. She’s very good,” he responded.

They also asked Vázquez to give him advice. “But what advice am I going to give her if she is television with legs. Look, Belén Rodríguez’s brother, whose name was Pedro Rodríguez, said many years ago that Lydia Lozano was a television format in itself. Look what vision he had,” said the journalist.

After the affectionate words, Lozano could not help but get emotional. “I can’t cry here,” he explained on the verge of crying. And he has emphasized: “Pedro Rodríguez was a television magician. He was the one who got me into all the debates. He was so intelligent. Thank you, Jorge.”
