Looking for the backlight, I captured these three photographs of the sunset in El Tarròs, in the region of Urgell, for Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia.

If we go into detail, in this photograph we can see the current state of the apple tree leaves with the light of the setting sun in the field.

In this other snapshot we can see the tree with a bird enjoying the sunset in its branches, like a privileged spectator, although it is difficult to see it, right?

Lastly, we have a rapeseed plant in the foreground with the Tornabous banana tree illuminated just by the starry evening sun.

The Plataner de Tornabous is a large, monumental plane tree, located in the middle of the fruit fields of the Canal de Urgell irrigation area, near the path of this Lerida town.

As an information sign indicates, thanks to its height (23 meters) it is a reference and meeting point for people in the area, as if it were a lighthouse tree.

In 2011 the Town Council of Tornabous declared it a Tree of Local Interest. It is located halfway between Tarròs and the Iberian town of Molí d’Espígol.
