The Minister of Defense, Margarita Robles, has shown her rejection of the accusations of the Junts spokesperson in Congress, Míriam Nogueras, against several judges involved in the ‘procés’, which she considers “unacceptable” especially for having singled out these magistrates “with names and surnames.”

During his intervention in the debate this Tuesday in Congress for the creation of a commission of investigation into the so-called Operation Catalonia, Nogueras called the judges of the Supreme Court Manuel Marchena, Pablo Llarena and Carmen Lamela, the former president of the CGPJ Carlos Lesmes and the judge of the Constitutional Court Concepción Espejel.

The parliamentary spokesperson also asked that all of them be “fired and tried.”

Robles considered this Thursday during his visit to Ferrol that Nogueras’s attitude was “unacceptable”, because the rulings of Justice can be criticized and appealed, something “normal” in a rule of law, but “never” specifically pointed out. to some judges, providing “names and surnames”.

The minister, who highlighted her “most absolute rejection” of the words of the Junts spokesperson, added that “coexistence cannot accept” these statements and has demanded “a peaceful coexistence, with respect, in which it is not possible to single out individuals.” to the people”.
