The second leg of the Champions League quarterfinals between Barça and PSG has forced the Mossos d’Esquadra to reinforce the surroundings of the Lluís Companys Olympic stadium to contain a large number of Barcelona fans on Tuesday afternoon.

In an increasingly tense atmosphere, the agents carried out a small charge after throwing several objects at the bus that was supposedly that of the Parisian club, but to the surprise of those present it ended up being that of Barcelona. The culés came to occupy the road and the Mossos had to use force to make way for the vehicle to the entrance to the parking lot in the stadium.

Shortly after, with the arrival of the most radical Parisian fans, the officers intervened again, this time to separate the two fans, who clashed with insults and throwing flares without registering serious incidents, according to police sources reported this Tuesday. .

Prior to this climate of tension at the Olímpic, a PSG fan was arrested for a crime of injuries in the context of a fight with a culé fan. In a statement, the Catalan police explained that the fight took place around five in the afternoon in the vicinity of Plaza España.

A security device has been designed with 300 agents who have accompanied the most dangerous PSG fans from the Venetian towers to the stadium to avoid incidents.

In total, some 3,000 PSG fans have traveled to Barcelona to accompany their team.
