When it seemed that the issue of Ana Obregón’s granddaughter, the actress’s legal daughter, had calmed down after all the controversy generated, the little girl’s baptism has put it back in the spotlight. The biological daughter of the deceased Aless Lequio went with the presenter and those closest to her to the Nuestra Señora de La Moraleja Parish for the event.
The event took place last Sunday, December 17 and since then nothing else has been talked about. One of the most talked about topics has been the name chosen by the actress to baptize the little girl: Anita Lequio (as a first name) Obregón (as a last name).
And finally, without knowing how she is actually registered in the registry, Ana Obregón has decided to include Lequio as the baby’s name at her baptism. This is because legally there was no possibility of using it as a surname. Something that has generated interest in knowing Alessandro Lequio’s opinion.
“Tomorrow you and I have new children (Joaquín Prat). I can’t give him the last name Prat, you can’t give him the last name Lequio, but we can put it as a first name, not as a last name,” the collaborator expressed in Let’s see to make clear what had happened.
Likewise, he wanted to clarify why he has Obregón as his last name. “The girl is Ana’s legal daughter and that is why she bears Ana Obregón’s last name. The rest of her is absurd,” she said. “It is also true that when you go to baptize, the priest on duty asks you for your first and last name, he does not ask for any birth certificate,” she added.
And although he wanted to give it normality, there have been several collaborators who have wanted to jump, among them Isabel Rábago, who has assured that it would bother her if her last name was used. “Not to me,” the count replied.
The collaborator thinks that “everyone can name their children whatever they want.” With this it is clear that either he is not bothered by what happened, or he prefers not to enter into a media battle so as not to stain the memory of his son. And he has said on several occasions that he does not like to talk about anything that has to do with his first-born.
Even so, he has not hesitated to clarify what he thinks about the sale of the baptism exclusive. Ana Obregón could receive 50,000 euros for appearing on the cover of a magazine, as she has reported in 20minutos. “Ana, like everyone else, can sell all the exclusives she wants. Those who criticize it are because they cannot bill for these things. That’s the end,” said Count Lequio.
