In this series of photographs in La Vanguardia Readers’ Photos we can appreciate the contrast in the autumn landscapes in the Urgell region.

First of all, we see how, in the sown fields, it has sprouted, but so timidly that it is even a bit sad, like at the crossroads in Conill. Of course, an almond tree dominates the land, already huge.

In contrast, and not far from Conill, we can see these other fields that do have a greener appearance, as seen in this other image.

As a curiosity, this photograph that we see below has been captured from the La Figuerosa road, but the landscape that is seen is from the town of Altet.

In this other photograph we see two paths through the green. The one on the left takes you to Conill while the one on the right takes you to La Figuerosa.

Finally, these other photographs around Altet show us what I call the “zoom effect”: although the red kite seems to be flying over the mountains, in reality, it was over the fields of Urgell.
