The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, will travel to Iraq on December 27 and 28, 2023, the Presidency of the Government reported today.
The trip, in which the Head of the Executive is scheduled to hold a meeting with the main Iraqi authorities, is part of the traditional visit that the President of the Government makes at the end of the year to one of the Spanish military missions abroad, in This is the case of Iraq.
Sánchez will previously hold a video conference tomorrow, December 24, also common on Christmas Eve, with all missions abroad
Sánchez will travel to Iraq after appearing before journalists on the 27th at the Moncloa Palace to take stock of the year and present his political and economic expectations for 2024.
