The Kardashian family is part of that group of people who take Christmas celebrations very seriously. So much so that the clan turns their mansion into, practically, Santa Claus’s house. This year the decoration was inspired by the snow castle, as Kim Kardashian showed on her Instagram account.

Therefore, for the party they celebrate religiously on Christmas Day, the businesswoman wanted to continue with the home theme and dress like a true snow queen. She chose a striking vintage dress by Mugler, one of her leading brands, from the La Chimère fall/winter 1997 collection.

A design in a whitish tone with blue sparkles, strapless with a draped bodice, with a knot detail on one side and tulle at the bottom. As for the fabric, it combines thicker fur details with light velvet. While the original design features a matching coat, Kardashian decided to replace it with a very striking diamond necklace.

Kim’s obsession with vintage dresses and her lack of care or poor practice has placed her at the center of controversy. It happened with the dress that she chose for the 2022 MET gala – the famous beaded dress with which Marilyn Monroe sang ‘happy birthday’ to Kennedy – which she returned very damaged after use, and now something has happened again similar.

This time the negative comments have arisen as a result of a video shared by Nicky Hilton where Kim Kardashian is seen sliding with a sled next to Paris Hilton, dragging the dress through the snow. An action that could seriously damage the vintage dress and, in addition, represents a lack of respect for the history of the luxury brand.
