These are nervous days for Alberto Chicote and Cristina Pedroche, as they are counting down to present the Chimes from Puerta del Sol. A magical moment that last year brought together more than eight million spectators and that this 2023 celebrates its tenth anniversary .

One of the most anticipated moments of the year, as the big secret is revealed: the dress that Cristina Pedroche will wear. The two went to And Now, Sonsoles to talk about this moment, but the interview became somewhat uncomfortable with a question from Ónega herself, who questioned the presenter about her thinness.

“You’re super thin, I have to tell you,” Ónega began, while they were talking about whether or not Cristina Pedroche was going to take her daughter Laia with her to live this special moment in the center of Madrid. A change of subject that had nothing to do with what they were talking about, but that Pedroche got around as best she could.

“I’m… fine,” the Password host managed to say. “Not thin, breastfeeding makes you sleep less and makes you feel more ‘sucked’ because everything there is is for the girl. I’m taking care of myself the same as always.”

However, Sonsoles insisted: “But, isn’t it because of the suit?”, to which Cristina responded with a resounding “no.” “This year nothing happens. Without gaining or losing weight, nothing happens,” said Pedroche, trying to settle the issue. Chicote, for her part, helped her partner, successfully diverting the topic to the dress again.

Cristina Pedroche also took the opportunity to deny the information that had been circulating in the media for a few hours and that pointed to a leak of the final design that was going to be worn on December 31. “Every December 28, things come out,” said the presenter. “It’s impossible for it to leak, because it’s not finished.”

Pedroche explained that the dress is still in the process of having to be finished, and although there are only a few days left until the design is unveiled at Puerta del Sol, she still does not have the final design. What’s more, the presenter also clarified that many of the “clues” that she has been giving through the various Atresmedias programs are false.

“No one sees it. When I take off my cape I love to see the faces of Chicote, of the cameramen. Because no one has seen it,” he says.
