This is what her mother, Raquel Font, explained in the El Contenor section of El món to RAC1, where she lamented that the dog’s attack still has visible consequences for her daughter due to the wounds under her eye and on her leg. provoked.
The brutality of the attack and the distress it caused them have led them to “not return to that park,” explains Raquel, who has reported that on the day of the incident the owner of the dog – a minor boy – wanted to leave the place of the facts when she saw what happened and that she herself held him and called the police.
However, this action had no consequences, since the dog’s owners have not received any punishment because the justice system has closed the case considering that there was not enough evidence of the attack and prioritizing the presumption of innocence, according to Raquel.
Unfortunately for the victim’s family, they only had three days to file an appeal and they did not have time to do so. However, Raquel assures that at no time did a forensic doctor perform a study on her daughter to check the injuries and validate her version.
