A man has jumped into the Carreras estuary, in the municipality of Isla Cristina (Huelva), thereby avoiding arrest after committing the theft of batteries from trucks and vehicles parked in the Román Pérez neighborhood of the island town.
The events, as reported by the Hermes Unit of the Isla Cristina Local Police, specialized in the use of drones, preventing, monitoring infractions and strengthening mobility, took place after this person perpetrated the criminal act.
A joint operation was established between this Unit and the Civil Guard to search for the alleged thief; Once located, to avoid being detained by the agents, he jumped into the Carreras estuary.
With this, the alleged perpetrator of the events managed to avoid being arrested for the moment, since the Police have specified that he is fully identified and pending arrest.
