Gabriela Guillén welcomed her first child, the seventh for Bertín Osborne, on December 31, as revealed this afternoon by the collaborators of the Telecinco program Así es la vida. When it became public that the famous singer and presenter was expecting a new baby with Guillén, with whom an official relationship was not recognized, a war of statements began that has ended with the former couple estranged and, according to the latest statements from the new mother, is prepared to face motherhood alone.
The model and beautician, who describes herself as “the entrepreneur of my life” in her Instagram biography, made it clear a few months ago that the newborn will be raised without the support of the other parent and that, at the mother’s express wish, she will not have the last name Ortiz, which corresponds to the famous man’s real name, Norberto Juan Ortiz Osborne, but the little one will have the last name Guillén.
Gaby, as her loved ones know her, had to face reprehensible comments that arose as a result of this pregnancy. Assessments that suggested that she could have prepared this situation as a trap to hunt down the famous person. Regarding those pernicious insinuations, she told Hello!: “Trap? No. Let’s see… He’s not stupid.”
Although at the time Gabriela Guillén’s pregnancy became public her objectives were to stay away from the media spotlight, tired of listening to lies and speculation, on more than one occasion she has broken her silence to rectify information. The journalist Paloma García-Pelayo assured a few weeks ago that Osborne had requested that a DNA test be performed once the child was born, to which Guillén responded that Bertín had not communicated that to him, and added that he has no doubt that Bertín Osborne is the father.
Regarding the alleged financial aid that Osborne provided or would be providing to Guillén, during an interview on the Sonsoles Ónega program, the Paraguayan assured that he had put an end to those payments by order of her.
“There is no financial agreement. He wanted to take charge, it is his right. He has made two payments to me to pay my rent and expenses, and I decided not to receive any more help from him. More than anything because I think there are things more important than money. He’s not asking me and if you’re a parent, be there,” he said. “The fact that he sends me a message asking if I’m okay is more important than a transfer,” he added.
The presenter has been married twice and, including Guillén, has children from three different mothers. His first marriage was with Sandra Domecq (who died in 2004), with whom he had a relationship of almost 30 years and divorced in 1991. As a result of that marriage, four of his children were born: Cristian (1977) Alejandra (1978) Eugenia Ortiz Domecq (1986) and Claudia (1989). However, his firstborn died prematurely at 20 days of age, something that greatly affected the singer.
His second marriage was with the Venezuelan Fabiola Martínez. He was married to her from 2006 until 2021 and they had two children, Norberto Enrique (2007) and Carlos Alberto (2008).
