Little by little, some of the names that will be familiar to us throughout this winter on television are becoming known. The reality shows and talents are finalizing their signings, which means it will be a busy season in terms of content.
If at the beginning of the week the name of Sabrina Salerno, the icon of the 90s, was leaked as a new contestant on Dance as You Can, TVE’s dance talent, in the last few hours it has been YoTele who has dropped another bomb. On this occasion, the signing of one of the most emblematic faces of Mediaset: that of Maestro Joao.
TVE’s new format, Dance as You Can, recovers the spirit of the legendary ¡Mira qué baila!, broadcast by the public channel in the 2000s and with Anne Igartiburu as master of ceremonies. In fact, it will once again be the Basque presenter who will be in charge of this new talent that, presumably, will arrive on the small screen in a few weeks.
Regarding the names of the contestants, some of them have already been leaked. Like, for example, that of Fabiola Martínez, ex-wife of Bertín Osborne, the recent signing of Mañaneros, Lydia Lozano, who is nominated as one of their star signings of the contest, or Sabrina Salerno, the Italian sex-symbol who rose to fame thanks to her explosive performance on TVE’s 1987 New Year’s Eve while singing Hot Girls.
However, in the last few hours YoTele has announced a new name that has been added to this list of contestants. We are talking about Maestro Joao, known for his profession as a clairvoyant, but also as an emblematic face of the Mediaset universe.
Let us remember that the futurologist participated in reality shows such as Supervivientes or GH VIP, in addition to being a collaborator on well-known Telecinco programs. However, last season he began his path in the competition with a weekly section in Zapeando, on La Sexta. Now, as far as television is concerned, he takes another step forward and appears for the first time on the public network.
