First dramatic role for Sofía Vergara (Modern Family) in this series from the creators of Narcos that is inspired by the life of the intelligent and ambitious Colombian Griselda Blanco, creator of one of the most profitable cartels in history. In the Miami of the seventies and eighties, “the godmother,” as she was known, expertly navigated between business and family.

EXPATRIATES / Prime Video, January 26

Nicole Kidman stars in this miniseries based on the novel by Janice Y. K. Lee. The lives of three American women intertwine in Hong Kong in 2014 after a family tragedy. The series questions privilege and explores what happens when the line between victimhood and guilt blurs.

THE MASTERS OF THE AIR / Apple TV, January 26

Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman, responsible for Blood Brothers and The Pacific, have reunited for this series based on the book by Donald L. Miller that follows a bombing group during World War II in Nazi Germany . The series portrays the psychological and emotional price that these young people paid.

Vicky Luengo stars in this adaptation of the Juan Gómez-Jurado trilogy. With an IQ of 242, Antonia Scott is officially the most intelligent person on Earth, which earned her participation in a secret and experimental police project. Without being a police officer, she has managed to solve dozens of crimes.

Kate Winslet returns to HBO after the success of Mare of Easttown. The new miniseries tells the story of what happens over the course of a year within the palace walls of a modern European regime as it begins to crumble. Directed by Stephen Frears and Jessica Hobbs, the series features Martha Plimpton and Hugh Grant in its cast.

A secret military project in China sends signals into space to establish contact with extraterrestrials. STAR WARS: SKELETON CREW / Disney , sin fecha

Jude Law stars in this series from the Star Wars universe that is inspired by films like ET and The Goonies. Four children about 10 years old from a tiny planet get lost in the Star Wars galaxy. The adventures they live in their search for the way back home mark the plot.
