The distribution of the first prize in the El Niño lottery could not have been more opposite to last year. If a year ago it went entirely to L’Escala (Girona), this year 94974 has been sold in practically all the autonomous communities, with that prize of 200,000 euros for the tenth. In fact, it has only bypassed Cantabria, La Rioja and Navarra, as well as the autonomous cities of Ceuta and Melilla.

In Catalonia, a dozen towns have distributed tenths of the first prize of the extraordinary draw of the El Niño lottery.

In the province of Barcelona, ??tenths of the first prize have been sold in the administrations of Barcelona city, Corbera de Llobregat, Mataró, Sabadell, Montgat and Sant Víçens dels Horts.

In the province of Girona they have distributed tenths of 94,974 in Porqueres, Anglès and La Jonquera; in Tarragona it has fallen to Corbera d’Ebre, and in Lleida none has been distributed.

In Madrid, the first prize has been sold in Madrid capital, San Lorenzo de El Escorial, Móstoles, Villaconejos, San Martín de la Vega, San Fernando de Henares, Ceniientos, Alalpardo and San Sebastián de los Reyes.

Specifically, in the capital it has been sold at the Moncloa-Princesa and Avenida de América transport interchanges, as well as in administrations located on Barquillo Street, 10; Santa Barbara, 11; Torrelaguna, 72; Narvaez, 13; From Pueblanueva, 36; and San Millán, 5.

In the case of Andalusia, it has been sold in all provinces except Córdoba and Huelva. Specifically, number 94974 has been sold in a total of 32 administrations or offices in Almería, Cádiz, Granada, Jaén, Málaga and Seville.

In this community, what has happened in El Ejido (Almería) has been surprising. The Administration of Loterías 6, located in Las Norias, has given part of the first prize distributed to El Niño this Saturday and has caught its lottery again, as happened with the Christmas lottery, once again on break.

Then, on December 22, this Almeria administration gave four fifth prizes that took its employees off work, at least initially, since – according to a sign in this establishment – it was closed “for staff rest.”

This Saturday this administration, located in the peripheral center of Las Norias de El Ejido, where a significant number of immigrants of different nationalities reside, has once again been graced – with the first prize for the Child – with its doors also closed, although this time case because it is a national holiday.

The commercial representative of Lotteries in Almería, Joaquín Cabrera, has informed EFE that, at the moment, they do not know the number of tickets or series that could have been sold there for 94794, which has also reached other points in this Andalusian province such as capital, Huércal-Overa and Vera.

In Malaga, meanwhile, another extraordinary situation has occurred. A Malaga lottery has sold two tenths of the first prize and the third prize of the Niño lottery after in the last Christmas draw it distributed a series of the Gordo and two other series of two fifth prizes.

The head of the administration, Nadia Lozano, who has been running this office for six years, explained to EFE this Saturday that the two winning tenths were sold physically and not by terminal, although she still does not know who the lucky ones may be.

In the Valencian Community, likewise, the lucky number has been sold in Aldaia, Mislata, Gandia, Carcaixent, Moncada, Alzira, Valencia capital, in Valencia; Orihuela, El Campello or Alicante, in Alicante; and Vinaròs and Castelló, in the latter province.

Meanwhile, in the Basque Country, it has been sold in administrations of Plentzia, and Leioa, in Bizkaia, as well as in San Sebastián and Hondarribia, in Gipuzkoa, and in the Alava towns of Llodio and Oyon, according to data from Loterías y Apuestas del State.

In Aragon, the epicenter of fortune has been Administration number 65, located on Salina Street, in the Gancho neighborhood.

This number has been sold at the counter, “one at a time, or at most, two at a time,” explained the employee of the Zaragoza Administration, Rubén Martínez, in statements to Europa Press. “They have purchased them at retail and we believe that they are all local people, because we are not on a particularly touristy street,” he commented.

Furthermore, he has expressed his joy at having sold the ten complete series they offered, a total of one hundred tenths. “It is not a fixed number, but it has been highly requested by clients due to its association with dates of birth, such as the month of September 1974,” she said.

“We think that some of the tenths will have been exchanged, but the majority will stay in the neighborhood,” he estimated, highlighting “how well it has sold” despite not being a common combination in the Administration.

In Castilla y León, Administration 83 of Valladolid, run for five years by brothers Jorge and Luis, has sold over the counter a series of the first prize of the extraordinary draw of the Niño lottery, number 94,974, with 2,000,000 euros in total, 200,000 per tenth.

Jorge has explained to EFE that it is the first time that they have given a first prize for the Child and that the number has been sold over the counter, in this administration on Paseo de Zorrilla, corner with Camino de la Esperanza. Furthermore, that first prize has been sold, in principle two tenths, in another administration of the Plaza and in other parts of the community.

This first prize has also reached the islands of Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote, and in the Balearic Islands it has been sold in two establishments in Palma, one located on Calle Sindicato number 25, and another in the Carrefour on Avenida General Riera, as well as in Calvià, where it was sold in an establishment that is a tobacconist and sells lottery tickets, located at Can Vich, 21-A.
